I’m a multimedia journalist currently working as editor-in-chief of The Rival American, a student newspaper at American University. I’ve written about national politics, popular culture, and campus life. I also work as a graphic designer for EGO Magazine, American University’s student-run fashion magazine. I am also a student affiliate at AU’s Antiracist Research and Policy Center.

I’ve had the opportunity to report for the National Association of LGBTQ Journalists in their CONNECT Student Program as one of their top student journalists across the country. I am now an alumni advocate for the current students in the program. I was also given the opportunity to co-write the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the National Association of LGBTQ Journalists’ 2023 Spanish Stylebook on queer issues, where I added 14 new terms used in queer communities in Latin America to the stylebook.
